The Outdoor Experiential Team Building Activity, organized by LC Myanmar Consulting, co-founder of the Youth Health and Cultural Development League, took place on February 22, 2024, at the Wowsport Complex in Yangon.

Purpose of the Training:

The primary objective of this training is to foster collaboration and teamwork among educators for the betterment of our students’ future. By engaging in outdoor experiential activities, participants will not only enhance their teamwork skills but also learn innovative ways to activate outdoor learning experiences for students.

Training Overview:

Amidst the picturesque surroundings of Wowsport Complex, teachers from various schools in Yangon congregated to partake in a day filled with collaborative learning and adventure. The event commenced with a warm welcome by the organizing committee, followed by ice-breaking activities designed to establish rapport and camaraderie among participants.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in a series of experiential learning modules carefully crafted to enhance teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. These activities, facilitated by experienced trainers, challenged participants to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new perspectives.

From high ropes courses to problem-solving challenges, each activity encouraged participants to collaborate, communicate effectively, and leverage their collective strengths to overcome obstacles. The interactive nature of the event fostered a sense of unity and mutual support among teachers, echoing the importance of collaboration in educational settings.

In addition to the physical challenges, participants also had the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and draw parallels to their roles as educators. Discussions on pedagogical approaches, classroom dynamics, and student engagement enriched the learning experience, empowering teachers with practical insights to implement in their classrooms.

Conclusion: The Outdoor Experiential Team Building Activity proved to be a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of LC Myanmar Consulting and the Youth Health and Cultural Development League. By providing teachers with innovative experiential learning opportunities, the event not only nurtured their professional development but also reaffirmed their commitment to shaping a better future for students in Yangon.
